MKK Dividend Indices Updated with 2025 Data
Calculated on the basis of dividend distribution data from companies traded on Borsa İstanbul, the "MKK Dividend Payout Index" and "MKK Dividend Diffusion Index," alongside the "Dividend Payout Ratio" and "Dividend Per Share" metrics, have been updated with fiscal year 2025 data and published on MKK’s Data Analysis Platform (VAP).
The MKK Dividend Payout Index, which measures the nominal change in aggregate dividend disbursements, recorded a 4.5% year-over-year increase, reaching a value of 1,105.35 (Base year: 2017=100).
The MKK Dividend Diffusion Index, indicating the proportion of companies distributing cash dividends relative to total listed companies, contracted by 5.7% compared to the previous year, settling at 27.97.
Furthermore, the "Dividend Payout Ratio," which reflects the proportion of corporate earnings distributed to shareholders as dividends, was calculated at 0.25 for 2025, up from 0.18 in 2024. The "Dividend Per Share" indicator, representing the distributed dividend amount relative to corporate capital, stood at 1.43 for 2025, compared to 1.82 in the preceding year.
