To navigate this new landscape, Central Securities Depositories (CSDs) must evolve beyond traditional financial infrastructures into foresighting market intelligence entities. By leveraging data and corporate governance solutions, CSDs are uniquely positioned to bolster the resilience of all market participants, not just their own operations. 

Dr. ARIKAN also underlined that, addressing growing geoeconomic conflicts requires common platforms like the World Forum of Central Securities Depositories (WFC) to take on a more formal, influential role in establishing global standards and unified agreements across the FMI ecosystem.
