Crypto Asset Central Registry System Approved by the CBRT

With the relevant decision of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) published in the Official Gazette on August 1, 2026, the operating license of the Crypto Asset Central Registry System (KVMKS) has been approved.

The activities to be carried out by KVMKS have been formalized through the CBRT's decision titled "Decision Regarding Other Activities That MKK May Conduct in Addition to Its Securities Settlement System Operator Activities," published by the CBRT.

With KVMKS, investor and balance information regarding the crypto asset market is kept under record with the assurance of MKK and made available to official institutions and market participants.
