Business Continuity

In today’s business environment, it is vital to have recovery strategies enabling institutions to act promptly and swiftly against unexpected circumstances, maintain business continuity and prevent data loss.

Our participants and stakeholders that constitute the Central Dematerialised System require to carry out their operations in MKK services continuously. MKK established a Business Continuity Management System to minimize the effects of an interruption in operations. The system was granted the ISO22301:2012 Business Continuity Management System Certificate by British Standards Institute (BSI Group)  in 2013. The certificate is subject to internal and external audits every year and it is valid until 2019.

Business Continuity Management System (BCSM) is composed of the following layers and activities: BCMS Scope, BCMS Goals and Procedures, BCMS Policy, Improving Employee BCM Competency, Business Impact Analysis, Risk Assessment, Business Continuity Strategy, Incident Management Structure, Business Continuity and Case Management Plans, Business Continuity Tests, Internal Audit, Senior Management Review, Corrective and Preventive Actions, Continuous Improvement.

Business Continuity Tests that are open to participation of all of our members, were conducted successfully and details on testing periods and number of test participants are provided below:
