Services

The records held with the CRA are recorded by book entry and the securities are registered in the name of the beneficial owner (investor). CRA provides a unique registry number for each one of the investors and by this number CRA puts the information about the accounts of an investor held in various member institutions together to provide services regarding investor portfolio.

Investors may benefit from following services with their registry number and password which is developed and provided by the CRA:

  • Notification Services
  • General Assembly Blockage Service
  • Investor Blockage Service

Notification services consist of sending automatic and standard notifications. By automatic notifications investors are informed automatically about the movements in their accounts, portfolio account statements and abstracts. By standard notification investors can access to the information related to their accounts.

On the other hand, investors, who want to join to the general assemblies of companies, can apply general assembly blockage on their stocks. Investors blockage causes the restraint of disposal of the member institution on securities of investors and all investors may benefit from this service.

Registry and Password Provision

In order for investors to benefit from the services offered by the CRA they need to have their registry number and password. Following the formation of registry numbers, the letter containing the registry number and password is sent to investors in the cases of :

  • observation of any transactions of stocks, corporate debt instruments, covered warrants and asset backed security in account of investor,
  • observation of mutual fund shares with a value of at least 10.000.-TL in account of investor,

Even if the cases listed above do not came true, if it is requested by investor through the institution (member) which investor has investment account in, registry number and password letter can still be sent. Investor who forgets his/her CRA password can request for a new CRA investor password by applying to member (Bank, Financial Intermediary, Issuer, Mutual Fund Issuer) which the investor has investment account in. Investor who has blocked his/her CRA password can enable the password by calling AloCRA (444 0 655) Investor Call Center.

AloCRA

Investors may benefit from call center services of CRA by calling 444 0 655 (444 0 MKK). AloCRA call center can be called from anywhere in Turkey. Investors are provided with standard information, general assembly blockage and investors blockage services through the call center. Furthermore, call center personnel can provide assistance to investors in using interactive voice response system.

CRA Mobile Services (Mobile Assembly, Mobile Blockage)

Provided that the necessary preferences are made through e-GOVERNANCE Portal and the service is enabled, investors may set and/or release general assembly and investors blockage by sending SMS to 2655 through all GSM providers in Turkey.

e-RPS

Provided that the necessary preferences are made through e-GOVERNANCE Portal and the service is enabled, e-RPS provides monthly sending of the information about the securities in all of the accounts in the CRA system opened in the name of the investor (portfolio), and the information regarding the movements in all investment accounts (account statement) in all intermediary institutions by e-mail.
