Dematerialized System and Central Registry Agency (CRA)
Central Registry Agency Inc. of Turkiye (CRA)
is a private company established in 2001 as a legal entity under
the provision of the Turkish Capital Markets Law (TCML).The registration of securities and the rights related
to them are being registered electronically in a book entry form
with respect to issuers, intermediary institutions and owner of
rights.
Established to fulfill cash payment and share
handout liabilities arising from the capital market operations and
transactions performed by the intermediary institutions for which
progressive liquidation or bankruptcy award was taken.
The duties governed under the Law Article 46/B and to meet the liquidation costs, the Fund
started to operate with the establishment of the CRA.
Investor Relations Centre
CRA is assigned to inform right owners of securities
about their transactions and to help them to block their assets
in order to exclude all possibilities of doubt and to preclude the
possibility of unauthorized use.
MKK informs investors via SMS, phone calls, e-mail, websites etc.
